Aug. 12th, 2007 07:06 amYesterday, Marie went out somewhere with Scott. Meanwhile, Dad took the rest of us out on the catboat. While we were on the boat, Brian was eating some fried chicken and drinking a root beer, and he spilt some of his drink, so he had to get some water to clean it up. He assumed that the bucket was tied to a rope that it came with, so he accidentally dropped it into the water. He had to jump into the water (in his shorts; he wasn't wearing a shirt, though) to retrieve it, but we were able to get the mess cleaned up.
On the way home, we were discussing whether we should see The Simpsons Movie at 6:00 or 8:00. I suggested that we go the next day, because we might start falling asleep if we chose the latter, but we'd only have an hour to unwind and eat dinner if we chose the former. I was then told that Grandma is leaving today, and Marie is going with her. When we got home, I took the movie times out of the newspaper, and we decided on 8:00.
As for the movie itself, there's just too much to comment on. It's all trivial though, but I will say this: I'd give it five stars out of five. It was extremely well executed, and the only thing that could've made it better (which I mentioned in the car coming home) would be a cameo by Binky, Bongo, Sheba, Akbar, and Jeff from Life In Hell. The Angry Nintendo Nerd now also reviews movies on YouTube (although only one of his movie reviews have been nearly as negative and rude as most of his video game reviews so far), and The Simpsons Movie is one of them. I'll be sure to watch it now that I've seen the movie.
