Apr. 21st, 2018 08:20 amMichael actually got back to me yesterday, after I only naturally gave up on him all those weeks ago. He said he will have the chapter finally ready next month, and so I have asked Philip to hold off on any further writing.

Called BestBuy yesterday, and was told that there were three copies of that guide left in stock. Brian and I went up there, he went to look for something else, but I was told by a store assistant who checked the warehouse that the only guides left were for God of War and Far Cry 5. I found Brian and told him it was already sold out, but another store assistant who was with him actually looked up its availability at other stores, and even looked for the right one after confirming online which one I was looking for, and actually found us a copy.
Went on to cancel the Amazon order when we got back home.

Showed Brian that entry, and we had a rather lengthy discussion about Starbound from there. At one point, I disclosed my intentions to him regarding Mother 1+2, since the only real obstacle left towards the fic is to let him play Mother himself for an understanding of the role of its version of Magicant as opposed to Earthbound's version. I am probably going to come back to that once and for all today to actually complete my walkthrough before I give it to him to play back in Boston.

And, the two of us finally got some time in with Breath of the Wild itself, now that we have that guide. More specifically, he began playing alone, and I just watched him for a bit, declining a turn with it specifying how I like to keep things simple in whatever I play.
