Mom had a third consecutive half-day at work yesterday, and we had arranged beforehand for me to come with her.
Went to bed at 10 the previous night, and woke up at 3 to take care of stuff. Before we left, I rolled some dice in advance to decide things like which areas to send some Food Souls to explore when some return, which Fallen Angels to purify once the ones in progress were done, and what to make next at the restaurant, for whenever I'd take a break, and marked them all down on an index card.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to connect my new phone to the hospital's wi-fi. While Mom and I were fiddling around with the settings on both my phones, my regular one received a signal in response to something she did on my new one, I opened it, and a page came up prompting me to register for a guest account. Sure enough, I got the Internet connection on that one, but no such luck with my new one. Seeking help from someone more knowledgeable would've been a moot point as well, given how early we were planning to leave.
Well, that index card did come in slightly handy beforehand. Even though I was planning to eat breakfast there, and thus didn't have anything to eat back at home, Mom asked me to brush my teeth anyway right before we'd leave, and I took a few minutes then to purify a Spectra D embryo and cook up some omelette rice. Still, would have been interesting to feed my restaurant staff some magic foods (in lieu of rolling dice to decide who should take over when they tire out) and cook up two consecutive batches of boiled lettuce even if said omurice was still taking up my only other chef window. (Normally, I don't bother cooking anything if both are occupied, given how unlikely it is for any one dish to be selected twice in a row, and I was also in the middle of a task to serve Sakurajima cuisine, which negated everything once I gained enough fame to re-include lost cuisine.)

Given how late I've been staying up, I looked up on the lottery website last night what time Cash 4 Life gets drawn, after having bought a ticket at the hospital gift shop (would have originally bought a scratch-off game called 5X the Bucks, but the vending machine didn't have that). Found out that it is now drawn nightly instead of twice a week.
With that, along with the website's different layout from before, I'd say it's time to change my strategy. From now on, each game will be decided by a glance at the right-hand minutes digit on my watch or phone:
1) Mega Millions
2) Power Ball
3) New York Lotto
4) Cash 4 Life
5) Take 5
6) Numbers
7) Win 4
8) Quick Draw (number of numbers to be decided by the seconds number)
9) Pick 10
10) Scratch-off games
