dmxratedYesterday was National Bomb Pop Day, and I bought myself a box of banana fudge ones to freeze in the break room before my shift started.
Come my lunch hour, I bought some stuff at Charley's for a promotion I'll describe in a bit. Brought that all to the break room to have a pop with, and discovered that the box was already open.
Well, there were some boxes of red-white-and-blue-flavored, so I guess someone assumed my own box was for everyone courtesy of whoever provided those. (There were only four left by the time Mom brought me home.)
(Also got myself some Lucky Lime ice in the orange color-change cup shortly after my lunch break ended, but somehow, it barely tasted like anything.)

The other day, I had received a message on the Charley's app, offering 10 extra points if you buy an original, strawberry, or peach lemonade (it didn't say watermelon-strawberry), 20 more for a second such purchase, and 30 more for a third purchase, up through July 31.
Just after making my purchase, I got the regular points message, but it didn't say anything about those bonus points. I tried googling for the promotion itself, but couldn't find anything, and decided to come back to it at home, at my PC where I can type much faster.
Somehow, I actually got all three boni shortly before my shift ended, despite having made only one purchase so far.

Noticed this place called Tropical Smoothie Cafe near Bagel Boss when I went to collect some carts from across the street near the end of my shift. If that's been there this whole time, I don't see how I failed to notice it for so long, but I am definitely going there on Tuesday, my next long day at work.
Also noticed a Starbucks that does have yet to open, said online to be in the works since February at the latest. Good thing I still have a gift card sitting in my wallet.
(Here's hoping a Dunkin' Donuts is next, since I still have 555 points sitting on that chain's app from BJ's. Unlikely that I would ask Brian to take me to Bagel Lovers near that gas station anymore, now that I already get bagels all the time, although I would probably get a hero if he does bring me there.)

As of yesterday, someone has just posted a decompilation of Epic Battle Fantasy 4 on GitHub. I just got around this morning to examining his work, and cannot wait to hear back from him regarding the actual changes I want and what those will entail.

Once we're all done with that game, Raymond might just be the one to work on Earthbound, the most important game which I have been reserving otherwise for Vadim. So far, I had been assigning Mother 3, one of the other priority games, to most other freelancers, but none of them ever went on to report anything. Muhammad was already in charge of Earthbound when I assigned Earthbound Zero to Vadim, along with Mother 3 and Super Mario RPG to Danijel and Umaid respectively at that time, and the lack of any actual work Muhammad did (I eventually fired him when he tried to pass off a pre-existing decompilation as his own work, which several people saw right through on Discord) is exactly why I've been reserving Earthbound for someone worthy.
