Mom has made plans to get rid of our current set of front steps to replace altogether, so that Dad does not throw his back out trying to renovate them whenever he recovers. To that end, she started moving some hedges lining them to the side a few days ago, and cut this plum tree down into pieces yesterday that I had to begin lopping and canning. I managed to fill four cans yesterday for this week's pickup, and am going to continue lopping and start sawing wherever still necessary.
