Background blankout quick-fix

Just found my wallpaper gone again. Some googling from there led me to right-click the desktop itself and click Personalize -> Background. The dropdown there was set to "Solid color", but changing that to "Picture" revealed two versions of my current wallpaper, and even my old Lucky Star image that I plan on restoring later. Only those three and two generic backgrounds, though, not La Pucelle or a higher-res version of my current pic, which were both directly from the web; actually downloading the latter and then setting that actually did put it under "Recent images".
