dmxratedWent with Marie and Aunt Marie to the farm, but it turned out to be closed. (From what I gather just now, it's supposed to open on Friday, from 9 to 3 each day.)
Just to have somewhere to stretch our legs, we decided to drive to the nearby cemetery, and walked a lap there.
Went home afterwards to bring Brian to Metropolis Diner. I got myself a New Yorker burger there, but will probably have something different next time.

Shortly after I watched an episode of Our Planet with Marie and Aunt Marie, and then showed them episode 5 of Release the Spyce, Mom asked me to show her another episode of my show for her. Between K-On! and Mitsuboshi Colors, she specified preferring the former, so we'll probably watch as much of that as we can before my subscription ends. (We can surely start over with Colors next time I subscribe for any reason, having only seen one episode of that.)

So Jimmy Carter spent almost a whole two years in hospice before dying just yesterday at 100. What a coincidence that my father is now in hospice at such a time.
So far, Dad has already lost his ability to ingest food, with his appetite also gone, to the point where Mom and Aunt Marie have had to crush any medication for him into powder to wash down with just enough water that he can still swallow at a time. I can't imagine he'll be lasting much longer now, but if this whole thing were to drag on for that long, I would hope some new treatments become available to him, if he were to actually agree to it.
