dmxratedEmily had arrived back from Cleveland late two nights ago.
For Mother's Day, I had bought a bag of coffee beans and another bag of iced-coffee mix from Starbucks, for Mom and Emily to choose between. Presented those when we arrived at Brian's house, and Mom and I each had an iced coffee. (That's what I decided later to bring home as Mom's gift.)
For much of our stay there, we all watched Maris play around in a kiddie pool, and mostly just hung around after bringing her inside.

The ferry Mom and I rode home wasn't as spacious as the one going to Brian's.
For what could basically count as both lunch and dinner (too full for a midday lunch after eating breakfast at the hotel buffet), I got a Chicago dog, a pretzel, an Oreo Delight cake, and some iced coffee. The last of those was with a Mother's Day drink ticket that Mom got with a plastic rose when someone gave her permission to drive on.
