dmxratedManaged to show everyone episode 4, the one I previously overlooked, of K-On! They chose to watch down in the house for convenience, and somehow, the colors actually displayed properly this time, even in-show.
Went on to show them a picture by born.K, of brunette-Paula eating a taco (a reference to the end of my current video). (Planning to host on deviantArt when it comes time to host the actual ROMhack, once I finish my playthrough and then put my next video together, in order to promote both said hack and my channel itself.)

At one point, we all had to help Brian push his boat (he and his friends were out sailing the previous day) into the backyard, out from the side-driveway to Masem Court.
We then went to the beach to bury Dad's ashes. (What a coincidence, to have watched an anime's beach episode earlier the same day.)
We went to this secluded spot where he and Mom liked to lay down and chat, separated from the shore by the surrounding vegetation, to dig a small hole. Each of us took a turn to share at least one memory of Dad, before she passed the bag containing the actual ashes around for us to each pour a portion into the hole. She then poured each of us some red wine, and we each poured half of our shot in before drinking the rest and having a segment each of two fruit-and-nut chocolate bars she brought.
We then went down to the water for a swim. While some of us (besides Emily, of course) actually swam, I did no more than dip my feet in. A full-body dip would've felt refreshing to me (aside from my nipples always aching afterwards from the cold), but I probably would've just run in and bypass the initial hesitation had my ankle not ached like it's still been (should've iced it before we left).

After dinner, we all watched most of Ponyo, which Brian and Emily had previously shown Maris. We cut short of the end, though, when Aunt Marie had to leave to catch her flight back home. I was also starting to fall asleep, and we promised to watch the end when we all see her for Thanksgiving. (Brian and Emily went on to put Kipper on instead for Maris.)

Marie left early this morning. Mom woke me up to say goodbye to her before she headed out.
