Yesterday morning, given what just happened to her the other day, I showed Emily those entries of Chronicles of 7th Grade where I had broken my wrist. She commented on the part where I snuck the bird towards a baby in the opposite room from us while awaiting treatment, and Mom told me what a little scamp I was back then.

(Having just glossed over it myself for the second time, for clarification, the "Bible School Kids" were a group of kids I had gotten to meet mostly between a three-week summer camp the preceding summer and a following week of an event called Bible school (both held at the Yaphank Presbyterian Church), although there were a few kids I knew instead from either school, an autism program in Stonybrook, or who were already friends with Brian. During the autumn in-between, I wrote myself a little story about the made-up events of one day (some of them actually did happen, though), but never showed anyone and disposed of it with some unrelated things two years later.)

Brian had to return the car he rented to come here, and Mom came with him to drive him back here. With Maris also out of the house, I asked Emily while we had lunch if she'd like to watch Release the Spyce; turns out that show had been pulled from Hidive the previous day. Found it streaming on another service called Hoopla, but I doubt even Mom has an account there.

Eventually settled on rewatching episode 5 of K-On!

As I notice, Yamanaka's hair color still looks slightly reddish, and pulling her image gallery on K-On! Wiki up on my laptop confirms a discrepancy. What's even weirder, though, is that even there or on my house desktop, there are still slight discrepancies between the wiki and Hidive (the differences still different between computers).

(This article explains why.)

After dinner, I put on episode 6, which involves Yui straining her voice.

I pointed out what a coincidence it is that, in a certain game I played recently, the lead vocalist in a rock band has strained his own voice when you first meet him, and you can set things up for him to receive some cough drops in exchange for a special pin.

And then what a coincidence it is in turn that I had to take two in succession in the middle of the other night, when I somehow wound up regurgitating some cranberry juice, waking up just quickly enough to get it on the floor instead of my bed blanket (still had to throw a few other things down the basement for washing), and started coughing enough to wake Mom up (she was the one who called me to her room and then advised me to suck on a drop).

After the episode ended, Brian browsed Roku itself to put something on for Maris, who decided on Charlotte's Web. What a coincidence there: Following an anime about music with a musical animated film about a pig, after I mentioned a game that features musically-named enemies (known as Noise), with pigs as bonus enemies.

Maris wound up not liking it halfway through, and Brian found Curious George to put on instead for her as I went to bed.
