dmxratedNot much happened at Rob's house before the Mom and I headed mid-morning to Grandma Ella's, where we would meet Aunt Allison for a short while before she'd leave. Rob went straight to the hotel we're all staying at (a different one from last summer, but in a separate room from ours), and Adam is spending Christmas with Aunt Dawn.
Right after leaving Rob's, Mom stopped at this Costco store and went inside by herself, where, if I understand correctly, she would get some special Italian pastas for a combined lunch and dinner we would have mid-afternoon.
Even from such a halfway point as we made of Rob's house, it was such a long drive that I found myself struggling not to fall asleep whenever I opened up Magical Girl Raising Project, and still found myself tired for most of the afternoon even after arriving at Grandma's, even after having a nap after only bringing my backpack inside, such that I would only open up my laptop in the evening after a dip in the hotel swimming pool.

Before we went to the hotel, Mom and Grandma were watching a colored version of this Shirley Temple movie called The Little Princess, and we decided to watch the end.
Having tuned in so late into the movie, I mistook one scene, where the already cruel orphanage headmistress asks her courier to return all mail from someone in particular unopened, for trying to keep Shirley's character out of reach from her father whom she was told is dead but somehow knows otherwise. Mom cleared that up to pertain to a different storyline entirely.
I also commented how hard it must have been to find someone to properly color all that black-and-white footage, similarly to myself finding someone to properly restore that one video of mine before I used that ad as a test. Grandma told me that Hollywood actually runs entire studios to handle such an immense task, and Mom asked me why I couldn't simply remake the video, which I specified was a matter of integrity to preserve of the channel's history (after I already attempted some measures to simply regain the original 1080p option). (That actually had come up the previous night as well, in such a conversation that she directly participated in, and Rob seemed to understand where I was coming from.)

Rob chose not to join us in the hotel pool, since we're supposed to wear a bathrobe over our swimsuits through the halls (mainly not to seem like "vagabonds"). Not sure why he wouldn't be able just to put his clothes back on over his swimsuit, although Mom did tell Marie how obsessive-compulsive he is in general during a phone call on the ride to Grandma's.

David Andrei Stepan, my old friend from the Lucky Star Shrine Forum, has just subscribed to my YouTube channel, now that I've just shared that with him while wishing him and others a merry Christmas.
My subscriber count now stands at 53, after a recent surge of 16 over a few days (not counting a few that appeared in one shot and then got filtered out).
