dmxratedThe roofers had actually finished their job just before dark that day before yesterday. I thought Marie was just hoping against hope, but it only took a few hours for them to apply the shingles, at least on the portion I could actually see from in front of the house itself.

Showed Drew and Marie yesterday's entry after arriving at their house yesterday morning. Drew decided to save the italicized section for when I host the actual video, and Marie also stopped short of just that before we had to start getting ready for our outing of the day.

Yesterday being a weekday, Drew once again had to stay behind to work, but Marie drove me and Mom to Point Reyes National Seashore, where I went with her, Brian, and Emily four years ago.
Along the way, we stopped at this food trailer, Blooms End at Neighboring Fields, that specializes in various baked goods. Marie having shown us its menu the previous night, I was originally gonna get either a chocolate ganache pastry or a chocolate chip cookie, but while we were waiting in line, I decided instead on a tomato and white cheddar pastry just before our turn came up. (Also got a cup of hot chocolate to go with it.)
During our ride there, Marie spotted five dead skunks, and while I only spotted one of those myself, the smell did permeate the car twice.
Once again, I also spotted a number of live animals, including cows, horses, brown chickens, a sheep, ducks, and an egret.
Arriving at Point Reyes itself, we this time decided to hike down a trail, and spotted a colony of elephant seals way down below, along the way forward and back each. Near the first were also a few ducks, and the second also included some pups.

A few hours after we came home, Mom and Marie were watching Jeopardy, and I joined them after having had a nap and then having a salad. The beginning of the very next episode featured anime as a category, but the answers there were Dragon Ball (the franchise), My Neighbor Totoro (the only non-shonen work; someone did guess Spirited Away, since "Miyazaki" was mentioned in the clue), Attack on Titan, Naruto, and how Light kills you in Death Note. (Not the kind of anime I'm normally into, even though I have watched such individual shows as Utawarerumono, Goblin Slayer, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime before, and Tower of God just recently. (I should note that the circumstances surrounding Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, along with Avatar: The Last Airbender (domestic but explicitly anime-inspired), were each rather specific.) Given how famous the answers all were, the category could've just as easily included such equally once- or still-famous shows as Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, or SpyXFamily.)

Following last night's episode of K-ON!, Marie or Drew put on this reality show called Below Deck. By that point, I found myself falling asleep halfway through, and was expecting Mom and I would head back to the airBNB after that episode. They went on to watch another instead, and I went to sleep in the bedroom then until they called me out after that one ended.

Checking my comments on deviantArt back at the flat, someone commented on three of my Cibus pics. Negative as three of them were, the remaining one was a picture under Pia, of a Pakistan International Airlines jet.

It still being dark out, I had heard an owl outside just as I was about to start writing this entry. Alerted Mom, and we went out onto the deck, where we could hear it in the direction of some park she mentioned Marie having told her about. We agreed to check said park out when it gets light out.
