Yesterday was Grandma Ella's birthday. She arrived after I got home from work, and we ate at another restaurant at Patchogue River (not the same one we went with Grandma Barbara to, though). Brian and Marie didn't come, though, because they were at a Beck concert in Brooklyn, until 9 P.M. For the appetizer, we ordered mussels and garlic bread. I didn't have any of the former, but I did have two rolls of the latter. For the main course, I'm not sure what everyone else had, but I had a Harbor Burger, which was the first time I had mozzarella on a burger from a choice of American, cheddar, or Swiss cheese. Also, while we were there, I told Mom that it would be funny if someone were dancing in the middle of any restaurant and singing "C'mon, C'mon" really loud.

"That would be funny, wouldn't it."

By the way, that particular song is played on the McDonald's radio, along with some other songs, and I also heard it at the mall the other day. You wanna know what else would be funny? If Mondo from Mon Colle Knights made his own video parody of the song Mambo #5, which was also played at McDonald's (y'know, "A little bit of Monica by my side"). Except here, he'd be scoring chicks from other anime fandoms ("A little bit of Nanako by my side, A little bit of Excel in the Sun, A little bit of Mahoro's what I need," etc).

This morning, Mom noticed that Boston Public is back on the air. I've already seen most of them, but I think I might just start watching it again anyway while it's on. I remember that WE: Women's Entertainment used to air it last year at 8:00 on weeknights, up until Christmas. (Isn't this great? So far, we've got Family Guy, American Dad, Mon Colle Knights, All My Children, Excel Saga, and any manga I got since this show stopped airing previously, and this might as well come to the table, especially after I accidentally walked in on Marie while she was watching Hey Arnold! the other day.)

I also reminded Mom that we haven't watched Gilmore Girls in several weeks.

Finally, I've been worried recently about losing my motivation to continue watching and buying Mon Colle Knights. For one thing, I've been too busy with homework to bother studying Japanese. However, when I first found CDJapan, I was absolutely grateful to have an opportunity to see MCK again. If not for that, I might still be harping over the show, and chances are, I wouldn't have even joined the Writer's Club. Also, I only have two more episodes of Disk 9, and after that, only three more disks to go. What's also good, is that Redda is going to make his first appearance soon, which means we'll finally get to one of the more serious parts of the series.
