I'm finally done with the Spring 2008 semester, save for one more weekend of workstudy. Unfortunately, Mom wasn't able to previously get a bus home for yesterday, so I had to wait until 3:30 until she could pick me up. I brought my Japanese textbook with me to read while I was there, but I never actually took it out of my backpack. Also, I was previously planning on going to an event called River Day, which would take place today (except that the weather isn't too good), but I've decided yesterday that I would rather just unwind from all the work and studying I've been doing.

The swing seat in our backyard snapped in half. It was very old, and that was bound to happen. I can remember when Dad put that tree swing up when I was little. I don't remember how old I was, but I do remember I got upset because we had another rope swing in our front yard (which later snapped in half). Interesting, how the top of the knot that suspended the seat is all clean and flat, unlike the rest of the knot.

Hi!
