dmxratedMarie had spent most of yesterday at the train station to meet Brian there. The two of them came home last night, and Scott had come here with them. Upon coming home, they just chatted about this and that, and Brian showed us a three-minute video about how the internet will work in the future (i.e. by sensing hand motions).
After we finished eating dinner, I asked everyone who wanted to watch an episode of Haruhi with me. I set up disk 1 to play episode 01, so as to avoid confusing everyone else. Scott watched half the episode with me, but Marie and Brian only watched bits and pieces of it. The three of them spent most of the time in kitchen talking with Mom, and I joined them after the episode was over.
Brian's only going to be here for two weeks. While we were talking, I told him about our plans to visit Planting Fields Arboritum and Old Westbury Garden. I would like to revisit that place as soon as possible before I forget about doing so, but I do know that Marie still has school, and Grandma Barbara probably won't be here until late in the summer. Mom did mention something taking place there on August 25, but Brian said that classes will on the 20th. Well, Grandma did previously tell me to let her know when we've finalized our visit there, so that she can arrange her visit to our house for then.
