dmxratedI spent most of yesterday playing Dark Cloud 2. Slightly more than half of that time was spent trying to get a medal in Rainbow Butterfly Wood, which requires that you kill twenty enemies within 4 minutes 20 seconds. The Ridepod's Nova Cannon simply does not kill them fast enough, and I eventually got so frustrated that I slammed my controller down and shattered the left handle. The only thing that sucks, though, is that it was one of those clear, glowing "Pelican" controllers with the emblem that changes color as you play. I do have two other controllers; one of them is a regular controller which I'll have to send to get repaired, as the Start button doesn't work, and the other is a bulky red controller which does work.
Anyway, I eventually did get that medal... that is, once I went out of my way to take the pictures needed to make the Machine Gun IV and the Nova Cannon II. What's also good, is that I won the Finny Frenzy yesterday; not only is this the first time I won, but I actually got 1st Place. On the downside, though, I forfeited my other two races once I left the tent, because I skipped the message saying that it ends once I leave. Damn!
