For the record in Pokemon Pearl...
Aug. 17th, 2008 09:09 amHere's the record of special moments in Pokemon Pearl:
Game: Pearl
Player: Lucas
Starly: Captured on Route 201. Would have evolved into Staravia after being taken from the Solaceon Day Care Center, but I never did take it out again.
Shinx: Captured at Route 202. Learned TM 16 (Light Screen), after I bought one from the Veilstone Department Store.
Kricketune: Captured as Kricketot on Route 204. Made short work of all three of Gardenia's Pokemon using Fury Cutter. Was chosen to learn HMs Cut and Rock Smash and TM 70 (Flash). Participated in the Elite Four battles.
Mothim: Captured as a Burmy in Floarama Meadow. I actually had two female Burmy, but this one was the only one ever to evolve.
Shellos (pink): Captured on Route 205. Was chosen to learn HM Surf. Eventually evolved into Gastrodon while surfing on the same route to Fuego Ironworks, after learning Recover. Fought against the Elite Four.
Drifloon: Only available on Fridays at Valley Windworks. At one point, this one mated with Mismagius, and gave birth to another Drifloon which inherited Embargo from Mismagius. Later, the Solaceon News Press requested a Drifblim, and I let it do some fighting on Route 210 so it could learn Shadow Ball before evolving.
Beautifly: Captured as Wurmple at Eterna Forest. Was chosen to learn HM Defog.
Machop: Captured on Route 207. Was taught TM 39 (Rock Tomb).
Happiny: Hatched from its egg at Route 209. Evolved later into Chansey, and then Blissey (can't remember either location of evolution). This is the first Pokemon I ever evolved through friendship. Chosen to learn HM Rock Climb once I got that HM.
Cherubi: Captured at Route 209. Was eventually taught TM 20 (Safeguard) when I bought it at the Veilstone Dept. Store.
Cleffa: Captured at Mt. Coronet. Evolved into Clefairy when I was fighting some battles at the Seven Stars Restaurant. I later evolved it into Clefable at Route 218.
Vespiquen: Captured as Combee at Route 210. I was gonna teach TM 40 (Aerial Ace) to my first Combee, but later realized that male Combee don't evolve. Quite by coincidence, this one evolved into Vespiquen when I happened to be on Route 213, right where the TM in question is accessible with Rock Climb.
Misdreavus: Captured at the Lost Tower. Was taught TM 63 (Embargo), which it passed onto its offspring upon mating with Drifloon. Evolved into Mismagius shortly after I found a Dusk Stone at Team Galactic's Headquarters in Veilstone City.
Pikachu: Captured in the Trophy Garden. Was taught HM Strength as soon as I got that one, and was later evolved into Raichu. Participated in the Elite Four battles, and later, in the Battle Tower (before which I taught it TM 25 (Thunder) to replace Growl.
Hippopotas: Captured in the Ruin Maniac Cave. Was taught TM 05 (Roar).
Wooper: Captured at Pastoria Great Marsh. Evolved when the Solaceon News Press requested a Quagsire.
Sneasel: Captured at Route 216. I later evolved it into Weavile when the Solaceon News Press requested one, and right then and there, it learned Slash as Sneasel, evolved, and then learned Night Slash as Weavile. In fact, after Slash, Sneasel can't learn anything worthwhile unless he evolves.
Palkia: The inverse record of Mewtwo in LeafGreen. This one only took one try and two Ultra Balls to capture. Participated in the Elite Four battles.
Uxie: Gets credit for fighting against the Elite Four.
Remoraid: Captured at Route 222. Was taught HM Waterfall (just like in LeafGreen).
Deoxys: The first event-only Pokemon I ever, ever got, not to mention that I picked it up legitimately at GameStop. Assumed the Speed Forme upon being taken out at Veilstone City, but the only fighting it ever did was one ExtremeSpeed upon Mesprit (which I never caught).
Jolteon: This one bred with a Ditto in FireRed, before being migrated to the PAL Park.
Charizard: Migrated from FireRed into the PAL Park. Was only ever withdrawn twice, the first time to visit the Move Tutor in Pastoria City, and the second time to participate in the Battle Tower (right before which I taught it TM 38 (Fire Blast) to replace Flamethrower.
Treecko: Captured in Ruby using a GameShark. I let this one evolve automatically because it learns better moves as Grovyle than still as Treecko.
Huntail: Migrated from Ruby. This is the first trade-evolved Pokemon I ever got.
Umbreon: Migrated from Ruby. This is the only Eevee evolution not to have been bred by Jolteon and Ditto in FireRed. (One of Jolteon's offspring was supposed to eventually become an Espeon, but never did evolve.)
Lotad: Captured on Route 205, and was taught TM 46 (Thief), which was in Eterna City just east of where I was.
Tyrogue: Captured at Route 211, same day that I captured Lotad, and was taught HM Strength.
Venomoth: Captured in Route 229. Was brought into the Battle Tower, and taught TM 29 (Psychic) to replace Zen Headbutt.
Sandshrew: Captured in Wayward Cave. Was taught TM 82 (Sleep Talk). That one was actually supposed to go to Baltoy, which I captured on the Cycling Road, but this is an understandable mistake. They're both Earth-types and live really close to each other.
Surskit: First swarmer Pokemon I captured in the game, which was at Lake Verity. This one would have evolved into Masquerain and learned TM 68 (Giga Impact) if I used it long enough, but I never even took it out since capturing it.
Delibird: Fourth swarmer Pokemon captured, at Route 216. I made room for this one so that I wouldn't have to withdraw it from Bebe's PC just to teach it HM Fly.
Regigigas and Heatran: New record for fastest Legendary capture time. With each of these two, I only had to reset the game once, and on my second attempt, captured them with just one Ultra Ball. Is it me, or are Legendary Pokemon getting easier and easier to capture? Well, no. I spent seven Ultra Balls capturing Giratina, around fifteen Balls catching Uxie and Azelf each, and I was never able to capture Mesprit despite the number of times I ran into him.
Updated on 1/17/11
Entei: Downloaded at GameStop today, and was chosen to learn TM 58 (Endure) in place of Howl (a move that came with it, which it does not normally learn). That being a TM that you buy at the Veilstone Game Corner, what better way to pass the time while I'm waiting for people to get back to me about stuff, than by gambling for coins for a bit.
