dmxratedIt's occurred to me (for the second time, not the first) that by having Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf as the traveling partners of Ellen, Jamie, and May, there's gonna be a major plot hole during the Sinnoh arc.
In the games, Team Galactic needed those three Pokemon in order to carry out their plans. They went to Sinnoh's three lakes precisely because that's where they were. In this ficseries, instead of draining the lakes, they would need to hunt down the three trainers to get them. Even further, the three pixies can only use their powers if their partners are embarrassed, but even humiliating a few of Team Galactic's own grunts isn't enough. The trainer in question needs to have stored energy in his or her body, which can only happen if they had any body parts enlarged. Even something seemingly simple as bust/butt/genital enlargement has prerequisites. Namely, all three trainers had to be naked, at the same time, in the presence of one of the three pixies each. Will artificially induced expansions work? No. Each pixie can only extract energy from one person until death and rebirth, and they've already chosen their partners. What does all of that mean? It means that they are simply useless to Team Galactic.
So, another possibility would be Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi. Sure, it would compensate for their inaccessibility through normal gameplay. In this case, before meeting with our heroes, Mew might have had a meeting with all other event-only Pokemon, after having escaped from Team Rocket in Kanto. During the meeting, she might lock up her own powers and those of the other E.O.s, so that they could only be utilized when certain conditions were met.
This creates problems of its own:
First of all, even though they are Psychics, they aren't the only three of their own kind. There are also Shaymin (of Sinnoh) and Manaphy (of Fiore), which follow the same "cute" pattern. That would mean that at least one trainer from Sinnoh and Fiore each would have to be selected, which goes against the original plan (to have three trainers travel alone in their respective region first, and then meet one another in Sinnoh when things become as apocalyptic as they can possibly get). That doesn't even mention the other E.O.s, which are currently Deoxys, Darkrai, and Arceus.
I should also mention that it would not be in my interests to have Dawn get her breasts expanded, since she didn't have any to begin with. So, that rules her out. Most of the boys already were ruled out, and Lucas and the unnamed rival in Sinnoh are no exceptions (unlike Jamie). It would be more in my interests to have only one candidate to a region, which rules out Marina (of Johto). And Solana? I'm not sure. Mind you, I do find her attractive, and it is possible that she would be involved in this, but since she can't just collect Pokemon... she might be a side character. I have yet to decide what to do with her.
And finally, while some of these Pokemon are directly obtainable through events, others require that you obtain items (such as the GS Ball and the Azure Flute) through their respective events, and then meeting them somewhere in particular. What will I do with those items?
