Will Silk ever win Makoto's heart?

dmxratedI'm writing this entry early because tomorrow, me, Mom, and Marie have to leave at around 7:00 A.M. for New York City, where Marie will be dropped off at Pace University.
Anyway, even though Ultimate Girls is an obscure series, I wish someone would write any fanfiction for it whatsoever. I'm not sure if I'm in outright denial about the last scene of Silk and Makoto on the rooftop, but if I think that love story between the two is inconclusive enough to leave room for fans to decide whether or not they hook up at some point after the series. Here's some points to consider:
1)Silk: "You're not going to study in America anymore?"
Makoto: "Yeah. I'm worried about Ultimate Girl, but I'll be able to find a girl I care about more."
Silk: Who could it be? What's he saying all of a sudden?
(Vivienne and Tsubomi peek from behind something.)
Tsubomi: "That's how it is, Vivi."
Vivienne: :"N-no problem. I don't mind."
Well, you'd need to watch the series in order to interpret that bit of dialogue. But, let's cover more details:

I should also note that Vivienne had a crush on Silk during the series. So, that means Tsubomi was basically telling Vivienne "So much for any chance to win Silk's heart," which means that Silk won Makoto.
2)Originally, Makoto said he was going to America for something related to Ultimate Girl (can't remember exactly, and don't feel like finding it). But, he also said that he loves Ultimate Girl Little Boobs (Silk's alter-ego, as dubbed by the press). Silk did later tell him that she was the real Little Boobs, but Makoto assumed at the time that she was just a wannabe cosplayer.
If Makoto still perceives Silk as a cosplayer rather than one of the real Ultimate Girls, then that might leave room for Silk to be the one he's looking for.
3)Earlier in the episode, before transforming, Silk asks UFO-Man to erase Makoto's memories of her when he revives him, so that he isn't saddened from losing her. However, while confronting the monster that Makoto became, she says "After all... I don't want him to forget about me." And then, after a bit of dialogue between Silk, Vivienne, Tsubomi, Makoto, and UFO-Man, UFO-Man says he only erased Makoto's memories as a monster, but he'll keep working. Silk then hugs him and says "Thank you!"
What the fuck? First, she wants Makoto to be happy by forgetting she existed, then she wants him to remember her, then she wants him to forget her even though her original reason is now moot. If UFO-Man really did follow through with wiping Makoto's memories of Silk, then that would explain why he said something about someone he cares more about than Ultimate Girl Little Boobs.
4)After the aforementioned dialogue in point #1, Makoto gives Silk a photograph. (Is this a gift to signal the end of their short-lived romantic relationship? I can tell it's not a going-away gift, since he's still in Tokyo with the rest of the news crew.) The scene then switches to a locker room scene, but the presence of UFO-Man (in his new state after reviving Makoto) proves that this it's not the same picture that Makoto took in the locker room in episode 4.
Well, from these points, I guess it's up for debate whether or not they do become a couple. Is he denying his real feelings towards her for some obscure reason, or does he really wish to find someone else? Maybe he'll someday realize that he, in fact, does love her. But even if it is true that Makoto simply doesn't want Silk, I'm sure that if there were any writers of UG fanfiction, some of them would write something that establishes the two as a couple, while others would accept the fact that they've both moved on. Either way, though, I'll be glad to read an Ultimate Girls fanfic if anyone ever writes one.
