Oct. 15th, 2005 07:13 amIt's been raining hard for the past few days, so I was unable to go outside except to bring in firewood or the mail. But it's finally stopped today.
Yesterday was the third anniversary of AdultFanFiction.
Also, we had a virus called "Bloodhound" on our computer, so Mom had to run a virus scan. She told me not to download the mail until she got home to scan the computer.
I beat Sonic Spinball, using the Level Select cheat. (In the options menu, press A, down, B, down, C, down, A, B, up, A, C, up, B, C, up. Hold down A for Lava Powerhouse, B for The Machine, or C for Showdown while you press the Start button.) According to William Walker's walkthrough (http://www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rlid=74780&rid=69123), this is the level that "eats lives like candy," and that has happened a number of times, but this time, I beat the whole level without losing any lives, and even got an extra ball along the way.
Finally, I understand that my game is going to take a little more than a week to arrive, and that's a bit too long to be stuck with Spinball or Snowboard Kids. So I finally decided to play Pokemon Red, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Previously, I was going to refrain from anything long, but at least now I won't be simply waiting for my game to arrive. (Nothing beats making progress and leveling up when you play a game like Pokemon or Zone of the Enders. Can't wait to do just that on Digimon World 3.)
