dmxratedTwo days ago was my last day working at the library this semester. Someone left a whole tray of cookies at the desk where we're supposed to sign in. While I was managing the circulation desk upstairs, Donna gave me a Christmas card and told me to take as many cookies from the tray as I wanted. Even though they're not my favorite kind, I decided to get some for my family.
(That card contained a Barnes & Nobles gift card for $10.)
Yesterday was the last day of school for the semester. Mom had already planned on picking me up from school, but I accidentally forgot my cell phone when I left it to recharge. When I got to school, I asked a handful of people if they had any that I could borrow. The first few didn't have one, but then I found someone in the cafeteria who was actually using his to write a text message. He let me borrow it when he was done, but I was only able to leave a message on Mom's work phone. I thanked him and wished him a Merry Christmas.
(Mom did receive my message, and came to get me shortly after 3:00.)
I'm glad to finally be off from school. Until Christmas, I'm gonna finish up with Pokemon FireRed and get started with Pokemon Ruby. However, I am expecting Japanese in Mangaland, volumes 2 and 3, this year (I asked for them), so when I do get them, I'll look into translating the Makeruna! Makendou Z instructions manual and continuing my translation of the actual game.
