Yesterday during midday, two funny things happened. First, a bird flew into our house through the window. It tried to get out through the glass, and Brian got the mop to help it get out. When it was close to the opening, it just stood on the windowsill. Marie was on the phone with a friend of hers when this took place, and she came to witness it.

Then, when I went out to get the mail, one of the letters was ripped in half from the post office. We only got one half of it, and it was a thank you card from Cousin Dennis for coming to his graduation ceremony and giving him whatever Brian or Marie gave him. It also had pop-up sailboats.

Mom already bought tickets to see some show last night for a Father's Day gift for Dad. Grandma came over for dinner, and brought a lemon coconut cake with her. Mom went over to get Chinese takeout.

That show we went to see was called Fats Waller: Ain't Misbehavin'. It's based on some CD album by the same title that Dad likes. His favorite song is Your Feet Too Big. When we headed home, one of us asked Dad why there were three female vocalists and two male vocalists on the stage. Dad told us that that's how it's called Ain't Misbehavin': because there are more girls than guys. It wouldn't be Ain't Misbehavin' if there were four guys and one girl.

This makes me realize that there was a reason why most of the human characters on Mon Colle Knights were female (with some exceptions, though). Obviously, it would have something to do with Mondo's habit of hitting up on every girl except Rockna. For those of you who read Monster Collection Chronicles before, you'll notice that the Outer Knights consisted of more boys than girls, even though their leader, Kasumi McKnight, is female. Okay, no big deal.
