Aug. 5th, 2005 06:55 amI was mistaken about my schedule for Virginia. My sister and I are actually leaving on the 17th of August. I found out when I asked Mom if she could take me to Borders "sometime before August 13th."
Anyway, Dad stayed home yesterday and slept, probably because he wasn't feeling good. Someone came to the door to talk to him about some branches blocking people's view on Long Island Avenue. I took over for Dad instead of waking him up because I didn't want to disturb him, but later on, he asked me why I didn't wake him up. Okay, so I was at fault there.
Last night, Mom and I made a dozen cookies. The directions on the cookie dough said to leave them in the oven for 10-14 minutes, but even after 14 minutes, they were still underdone. They were still good, though, and Marie and I had a couple each.
Finally, I bid on an ebay auction for Wild Arms, but found out just a few minutes ago that someone outbid me.
