Yesterday, I brought the first chapter of SMW2: Yoshi's Island rewritten to the Writer's Club. I was the only one who had anything lighthearted to read. Not that it was genuinely funny, though somewhat humorous, but at least mine wasn't grim either, unlike what everyone else read. One person read something called Thanks for Seeing Swallow, about a man who lost his lover and a friend who was in the marines. Another member read Her Boyfriend, about a girl who states all the reasons why she hates her old boyfriend. There was other stuff, but the worst would be about a dinner party where a military officer was invited, but ruined it by bringing in a box of human ears and pouring it on the table. It had to do with the U.S. government trying to protect human rights in El Salvador, but the people there resented them butting into their lives.

Finally, last night, I spoke to Peter for the first time in a while:

Redgunner5: Oh hey, haven't seen you online in a while
DMXrated01: Hi Bill. What's been happening?
Redgunner5: Actually it's Peter
DMXrated01: Okay, Peter.
DMXrated01: Anything going on?
Redgunner5: Just enjoying my senior year I guess
Redgunner5: How's college
DMXrated01: Good. I'm currently taking Western Civilization, Political Thought, Intro to Computers, and Elementary Spanish.
Redgunner5: that's cool
Redgunner5: where you at again?
DMXrated01: Suffolk County Community College.
Redgunner5: You going anywhere next year?
DMXrated01: Not sure.
DMXrated01: Anyway, I recently bought this game called Digimon World 3 from ebay. I enjoyed it for a few days, but then started playing Pokemon up until yesterday.
DMXrated01: By the way, I now have a livejournal account, in case you're interested. Want it?
Redgunner5: DO you have myspace?
Redgunner5: I do that
