Dec. 9th, 2005 06:04 amYesterday after school, Mom and I discussed what Christmas gifts to get for different members of our family. We decided to go to Borders to get a book for Dad. While I was there, I noticed a children's book called Tickle the Duck, with the duck on the cover saying "Don't you dare!" I brought Mom over to have a look at it and asked her if it would make a good Christmas gift for Adam, but she told me that he's going to be eight soon.
Mom then had to drive me to Dr. Perret's. This month, I spoke mostly about sexual fetishes and about Mom's disapproval on Sailor and the Seven Ballz. I really shouldn't go into detail about it, because any girls who read it might get embarrassed.
When we got home, Grandma Barbara was already here. Someone ordered Chinese takeout, and the rest of the family was already in the middle of dinner.
Later on, Grandma was watching this show on WLIW called Animusic. I tuned in two and a half songs before the show ended. It's about different machines designed to play music. Mom also came and watched, and she asked me whether I think they're real or just made up. They looked quite real until the floating drumsticks in "High Voltage" appeared. I figured that the whole show was computer images, and the music was really composed from MIDIs.
