Yesterday was Brian's birthday, but his party is going to take place a month from now. Grandma Ella came over, and we were having fried chicken for dinner and chocolate cake for dessert, so I skipped eating lunch to save space.
After work, I started playing Digimon World 3, despite previously thinking I would never come back to it again. Needless to say, I got bored after beating the phony Byakko gym leader, and shut the game off without saving. I think I need a break from reading fanfiction at all and from thinking about my Digimon fic.
Recently in a Peanuts comic, Charlie said to Snoopy that he and his friends are having chocolate cake, but Snoopy couldn't have any because "a good guard dog doesn't eat chocolate cake." Snoopy then thought "What about a worthless one?" I shared it with everyone else, and Dad told me that if the dog did, then the robber could use it as bait, but in any case, dogs don't like cake. Mom did mention later, though, that chocolate is actually poisonous to dogs.
Before we had cake, Mom, Dad, Marie, and I went into Marie's room to sign a birthday card. Marie wrote "Happy birfday" on it, and I wrote "Happi birthdae." Afterwards, we ate the cake, and I noticed there was something liquidy in the middle. Mom said it was apricot jam.
