May. 12th, 2006 06:50 amYesterday, Mom didn't have to go to work until 8:00, so she made Brian and Marie eggs and bacon, in preparation for their final exams. I had some bacon as well, after my usual bowl of cereal. And speaking of bacon, last Sunday in Garfield, Garfield was listening to an Ipod and dancing, and then Jon listened to it, only to hear bacon frying. (In other words, Garfield was listening to bacon.)
Anyway, Mom was able to drive Brian and Marie to school, and then drive me to school, taking the burden off of Dad. Brian drove to the Longwood High School, and then I took the wheel. Mom needed me to go back home to get something first, though, but when I got to campus, I drove straight to the Islip Arts Building instead of in one of the parking lots.
Two days ago in Literature, we watched an episode each of Friends and That 70's Show. Obviously, the writers of those shows try way too hard to be funny, and fall flat. The dialogue is unrealistic and unbearable. Of course, it's not like dialogue in The Simpsons isn't exactly realistic either, but at least that's not the only kind of humor its writers know how to pull.
Today in literature, we watched an episode each of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is more bearable to listen to.
As for Intro to Computers II, I finished my Final Project and turned it in, so now I don't have to go to that class anymore. Since I now only have one class next Tuesday, Mom's considering asking Dad to come pick me up for once. She's not allowed to simply leave work in the middle of the day, but Dad, on the other hand, runs his own workshop and shouldn't have a problem leaving once in a while.
Mom also picked me up at 1:00 instead of 2:00. On the way out of school, she brought me to Borders while she went to Macy's for some clothes to wear in England. I drove on the way there.
While I was looking around in the manga section, I noticed some computer game called Super Munchkin. It's not anime, but on the front side of the box is some girl whose breasts are rather large for her age, though not dodgeball-ish. Along with that, her shirt sports a star-shaped hole over her cleavage. Judging from the back cover, though, it actually looks like one of those kiddy educational games that first-graders enjoy. Obviously, I wouldn't expect any nudity or foreplay/groping in the game, but I wonder whose idea it was to put fanservice in a child's game.
As for manga, I took out volume 1 of Pastel and Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch each, and volume 3 of Mahoromatic. It all cost $31.16, and I used that Borders card from my birthday, which was worth $30.
Leaving borders, we then had to go to Sam's Club, and then Target to pick up some photos. I drove to both those places and coming home.
I beat Sonic Adventure 2: Battle yesterday, and finally got some experience of the Chao game.
