Sep. 23rd, 2006 06:03 amYesterday, Dad got the electric bill, and it said that we've consumed 302 kilowatts less than we've consumed last year.
Brian called us yesterday, and he told Mom that he's not too enthusiastic about Cornell. The freshmen are rather immature, and there's so much peer pressure on him. Mom told me that 60% of the population is from Connecticut, and I told Mom and Dad that I'm glad I'm immune to peer pressure, being one rarely to socialize at school. This means that I can be myself and do what I like to do, and I can't be pressured into doing drugs.
I understand that the Sega Dreamcast versions of Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 had a Chao game on the VMU. I regret missing that part of the fun, but I might still be able to incorporate something similar to the Digimon fic. What was I thinking when I made the rash decision to buy a Nintendo GameCube, when my 20th birthday was only several weeks away? Oh well, at least I got to enjoy both versions of the Chao Game, and I intend to buy Pokemon: Gale of Darkness sometime in the future, which makes the GCN even more worthwhile than a Dreamcast.
Oh, to compensate for what I'm missing, I'm planning to buy an actual copy of Sonic Advance 2 and a GCN/GBA game link cable (I found both on Ebay for a total of currently $9), even though I already downloaded a copy of SA2. A real copy will enable me to switch Chao between the game's Tiny Chao Garden and one of the normal Chao Gardens, the former which provides miscellaneous fruits (similar to the Chao Adventure fruits) and even rare Chao egg species. As of right now, I'm just practicing with my downloaded copy until I receive them.
