Oct. 14th, 2006 07:35 amSo far, I've made a deal with myself that I will buy Pokemon Emerald only after I finish my Psychology term paper and the Loose Change essay. Right now, everyone wants a copy of Emerald off of Ebay, and the stakes show no sign of going down.
Yesterday, Mom didn't have work, so I didn't have to spend hours at school for just one class. I was able to work on the term paper, and so far, I have three pages in out of a requirement of 7-10. Actually, the list of stuff to add to it that I made for myself seems like more than I'd be able to fit into the 10 page maximum, but of course, if it is, I could just edit stuff out.
My Paypal check cleared, so I told Mom that we need to stop at the post office either going or coming from school. While I was packing my games, she told me to print up the receipt. While looking at my email, she asked me how much the shipping was, and I told her it was covered by the bid. She yelled at me for this, but then I told her that the people who rely on charity to get through life probably couldn't afford a TV set, let alone a Playstation and the electricity it consumes. Also, people are trying to sell all kinds of other games and manga for as low as 99 cents, and next to no one wants them, so I'm just lucky to make anything off of my stuff.
After I got home from school, Mom had to drive me to Eckerd's to get my passport photo, and in the same parking lot, had to take Marie to the bank and then to Petland. Everything went smoothly.
I downloaded a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hack, but for some reason, Gens (my Sega Genesis emulator) is unable to read it. I sent an email to the owner of a site called Hacking Cult, and also asked why on the ROMNation forum. So far, no one answered me, but no big deal if I don't get an answer ever.
