Yesterday was election day, so I didn't have to go to work. Instead of having my Tuesday classes, I had just Psychology. I got lunch an hour after that class ended (in this case, a bagel and a brownie; bagels don't contain protein, and yesterday was the best day to buy one since I didn't have anything else to attend). Right when I was about to sit down, my cell phone rang, and Mom told me she was picking me up right then. Dad's van was in the parking lot right when I got there, and Mom and Marie were inside. Mom first told me that I had to share a seat with Marie, since that's the only passenger seat in the van, but then Marie gave the whole seat to me anyway since I had a tray full of food.

According to Mom, she was about to put some wiper fluid into her car, and she noticed that everything inside the hood was covered in gasoline. She then found out that the gas cap was missing, and as it later turned out, she and Marie found it on the Long Island Expressway where she thought she ran over a stick.

When we got home, I decided to store my water bottle back in the fridge for tomorrow, and had a glass of lemonade instead. Marie's like "Mind giving me your brownie?" in a rather mean way, for "kicking me off the seat." She was only kidding, though, and I then offered her half of it for letting me sit down comfortably.

Last night, I had an appointment with Dr. Perret, and Mom had to drop Marie and Joe off at the mall to buy shoes. When she dropped them off, we still had half an hour to kill, and she went into Marshall's before driving to Dr. Perret's. I told him about my fetish for babyfics (particularly about Sonic the Hedgehog fics, even more particularly about Eggman's New Invention), just to get it off my chest. After that, I told him about all the kinds of stuff I used to do when I was eleven (which I didn't even have to think up back then). Then, he asked me about my social life, and I told him about that Halloween party I went to the other day, and that I'm considering dropping out of ACLD.

Upon leaving, Marie wanted to wait until 5:30 before getting picked up, so we drove to Border's. Instead of looking at manga, I decided to look for more Opus books to get Dad for Christmas, and Mom showed me where she found the one we have. That was the only one on the shelves though, but several shelves across, I found a player's guide for Grandia III. I gave it a read, but decided not to buy it.

We left Borders to pick up Marie and Joe, and it turned out she didn't buy any shoes at all. She told us that they didn't have the shoes she liked, and Mom told her that she can't wear summer shoes all year round, because "It looks ridiculous."
