Apr. 16th, 2007 06:35 amI finished Disc 1 of Parasite Eve yesterday, but my Playstation 2 isn't reading Disc 2 when I put it in. I can't even save between the two discs, and upon looking it up on Wikipedia last night, I found out that this happens with all multidisc Playstation 1 games unless the console has been modified.
Dad and I watched Under Seige and Under Seige 2: Dark Territory yesterday.
Marie wanted to play Scrabble with Mom yesterday, and I joined the game. Marie used "Beirut" and "wee" among regular words. Mom told her that normally, you're not supposed to use proper names, but we decided to change that rule. Also, "wee" is either a synonym for urination or a made up interjection used by little kids when they go for a ride. I used the word "gook" among other words, referring to a derogatory name for Vietnamese people (and no, I'm not actually racist). When we ran out of letters, Marie gave up on the game, so me and Mom decided that it would be the last round. I finished the game with the word "the," and my remaining letters spelled "elect" perfectly without even having to be rearranged. Mom won the game with 160 points.
