Jun. 1st, 2007 07:07 amYesterday was my first actual day of bowling at the Centerreach Bowling Alley. The bus came early for the second time this week, and when I got to the bowling alley, one of the staff said they'll let me in early just that one time.
When I got home, Brian had James Russell over at our house for the first time in years. The two of them played chess while Marie was writing some autobiography on the computer, and I played a game of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in my room. (I got Tails for the second time in my life during that game; the only other time I got him on a signpost was when I was playing it on an actual Game Gear, when me, Mom, Brian, and Marie visited Grandpa Bob for the first time in Florida, shortly after I got the Game Gear for my 8th birthday.) Too bad I lost that game in Green Hills Act 3. By then, Brian and James were watching some YouTube video (I wasn't watching with them, so I'm not sure what they were viewing), and I sat down with Marie while she watched the end of Home Alone on WE: Women's Entertainment. And then, I went outside while they battled each other on Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye 007.
When Mom came home, she told me that if the bus comes early again, I need to let whoever's driving it (a different driver each trip) know that they need to wait until the appointed time before picking me up. Meanwhile, she's also going to call the bus company to complain so that this doesn't persist.
After we ate dinner, I spoke to Jake for the first time in more than a week. He told me about some fanfic he started working on, in which the main heroine of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl gets transported to a world of anthros instead of Pokemon. I told him that I wasn't interested in such a fanfic, and he wasn't surprised. I then told him about my newly uploaded Tiara pic, and he thought it was pretty good for a first attempt at art, even though girls holding their noses isn't something particularly interesting to him.
