Aug. 9th, 2007 06:56 amYesterday was a really hot, muggy day, which I spent mostly playing Pokemon LeafGreen. Dad took the doors to both the bathroom and my bedroom down so that he could work on them, but most of the day, I never even did bother to put the air conditioner on in my room.
Marie has a ton of homework for the Summer, so Mom assigned me to both vacuum the house and wipe the bathroom down for when Grandma Barbara comes over today. I did both tasks without a problem, even though I took a break for at least half an hour while vacuuming.
Jake's fingers were hurting, so he was unable to communicate with me through MSN. Martin, however, contacted me through AIM, and we had a short chat. Not much is really noteworthy.
For dinner, Mom made (cold) roast turkey and some potato salad. She said it's a hot day, and we could all use something cold to eat. Dad didn't mind eating it, but I don't like either of those, so I just put both items in a container and ate only some tomato salad.

I also found this fic called Sonic: Dark Future on Fanfiction.net recently, and started reading it. At first, I was gonna refrain suggesting that Tiara appear in the fic, until I noticed that Honey the Cat (from Sonic the Fighters) and Ashura also appeared in the fic. I sent the author a PM making such a request, and he responded this morning that he assumed that Tiara was in the Archie Comics, which he doesn't read. I told him that she was actually supposed to appear in Sonic Xtreme, which got cancelled. I also sent him a pic of Tiara, along with links to the Sonic Xtreme Compendium and the Sonic Heroines website.
