Aug. 20th, 2007 06:39 amI finished Ellen's pic yesterday, and posted it onto DeviantArt. It still has yet to show up in the archives, but it's at least viewable from my profile.

Yesterday, while I was having a nap, I could overhear Mom lecturing Marie about how she wasted most of her summer hanging out with her friends when she was also supposed to be working on a school project (which needs to be dropped off at the high school's main office today), and how much she needs to buckle down. Marie had to spend a few hours on the computer before I was able to talk to Jake, but Mom did give me some chores to pass the time, which consisted of mowing the lawn, separating greenbeans and eggplants from their stems, and picking more greenbeans off the garden fence. I didn't know how much time in total Marie was going to spend typing up her report(s), but ironically, she never went back on after the first time, which is why I was able to chat with Jake more than I expected to.
I told Jake about my newly uploaded pic, and he was generous to give me his constructive criticism. The mouth, in his opinion, was ugly, but I was able to fix it right up after he suggested I draw a mostly straight line for it instead of a semi-sideways curve. Next, the blush: he said that her face was too red. He suggested that her cheeks and the space between her mouth and eyes be red, while the rest of her face remain flesh-colored. I took the time to fix those two bits up when I took a break from talking, but I *might* make the forehead red as well while leaving the chin, mouth and space around the eyes normal. Third, her bust-size: he didn't expect Ellen's breasts to be that big. However, I decided that I'm going to leave them as they are. I even compared them to those of Maria Tatsuya from Blue Eyes (who I referred to yesterday on MSN Messenger) right before writing this blog entry, and they're pretty much equal. Finally, was the description of the pic. Jake told me that it isn't necessary to describe the fic that the pic applies to in the pic description. I told him that I included it mainly to be social with my viewers, but he suggested that in its place, I simply write "Please ask for details."
Last night, I looked on the VGMusic forum, and noticed a thread called "Post your picture here." Since a lot of forum members are posting photos of themselves in that thread, I decided that I should post one as well. I might even post a copy of the picture Mom took of me and Brian two nights ago, along with some pictures of the rest of my family. I did read in Jake's blog that he would rather not do so anywhere on the Internet because enough people see him already in the physical world, but maybe he can email me a pic personally. If he doesn't even want to do that though, then no big deal.
