Nov. 2nd, 2007 06:21 amI finally got around to starting the Sgt. Frog fic yesterday.
Jake contacted me through MSN last night, and I was able to let him know about it. We also discussed the end of our previous convo, which was a bit of a dispute. He told me that, for one thing, he wasn't in the mood for talking about fanfiction at the time. However, his main gripe was that he shows me all these pics, and except for the perverted ones such as Ellen's Pokesho pic, I tend to brush them aside as if they're completely worthless. He stated that art is not all about fetishes (which, mind you, it sometimes is). For example, I remember him showing me a Pokesho pic of some woman playing the violin while a Swablu sits near her and listens.
I'm glad Jake made me aware of the error of blowing off non-erotic artwork. What I was doing is akin to Bart and Homer Simpson gobbling breakfast within five seconds after Lisa and Marge took the time to make a bacon-and-eggs smiley face out of it. Both these actions show a lack of appreciation for all the hard work put into these respective things.
