Dr. Schaefer postponed the due date for the essay for yet another week. He said that by either turning it in yesterday or doing more than the minimum amount of work required to turn in next week, we can have it count for 40% of our grade, which will allow us to skip the Final Exam. I chose to turn mine in at the end of class, since I was already done with it. Being exempt from the Final doesn't allow us to not come to class; we still have to show up on the last day of class, but I'm glad I got such an opportunity as this.
