I'm finally done with classes for the semester, so now I just have one more weekend of working at the library.

Brian was supposed to come home yesterday, but he couldn't because there was a snowstorm both here and in Ithaca.

Mom had bronchitis for the past few days, but is feeling better now. Two nights ago, Dad came home to find that she was doing a million things when she was supposed to be in bed, and he got aggravated over that. The two of them got into a dispute over who was going to pick up Brian, and Dad insisted that he should go because of Mom's illness. Mom claimed to have already been feeling better at the time, but Dad said no.

Martin still hasn't started working on the pic I requested because of stuff that's been going on with him. That's okay, though, because I can still hold myself over with more artwork ideas that I have. What about Java, though? Well, I'll just get back to that whenever I'm ready.

As of right now, I think I'm going to put my current pic on hiatus. Mind you, the image isn't missing any anatomy, but I still have yet to work on the miniscule details in order to improve the pic's quality before I post it onto DeviantArt. What is it, you're probably asking? Well, I borrowed a custom character from my copy of Katy Coope's book How To Draw Manga. Her outfit's been modified, and I gave her a big bosom and a really big nose. (I'm talking more realistically shaped and even bigger than what I gave Hikari.) Her name is: Nozomi.

I promised Martin to alert him once the pic is posted on DA, but I'm going to put it under an lj-cut here for the sake of preservation. Click it if you're interested. You might or might not like it.

Finally, remember last post, where I wrote why I perceive myself to be a video game nerd? Well, just two nights ago, I posted a topic on the VGMusic forum about "bit", which is even more proof of that. To start with, I explained what I perceived was the way to tell 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit, 64-bit, and 128-bit games from one another. From what I understand, though, the Game Boy Advance, even though most of its games are similar to those of the 16-bit SNES and Genesis, is actually a 32-bit game console, and that's the first thing I actually asked about, along with why the Virtual Boy was considered to be a 32-bit console and why these current systems we have (i.e. Wii, PS3, Xbox 360) are still 128-bit like their predecessors instead of being "256-bit." I also jokingly included a make-believe console (the Sega Mondo, an obvious reference to my favorite anime) as Sega's successor to the Dreamcast in the 128-bit console category. Aethis also made his (or her) own joke in response to dw_junon's request to explain bits (short for binary digits), which "answers" as follows:

Obligatory:
Windows is a 32-bit patch to a 16-bit GUI for an 8-bit operating system written for a 4-bit processor by a 2-bit company that can't stand 1-bit of competition.

Anyway, here's the link to the thread, in case you're interested. Might be too technical for you to understand, though.
