Brian slept yesterday until somewhere around 2 P.M.

I played both Silver Surfer and Knuckles Chaotix each for the first time yesterday, along with looking up the walkthrough for Getter Love!!

I also started a thread in the ROMNation forum asking how long it took ROM files to get uploaded when ROMNation didn't have them yet. According to jpcline004, games take much longer to be made available on the Wii Virtual Console in order to keep interest up and to allow time for debugging and giving ESRB ratings. I even brought up my theory on a VC-related thread by GEC05 in the VGMusic forum. Powerlord responded to my post, and in his opinion, the TurboGrafx-16 has the best chance of having its library of games completed on the VC, while the Nintendo 64 has the worst chance what with the size of its games and the fact that Rare (which owns games like Banjo-Kazooie and Goldeneye 007) now belongs to Microsoft (which made the X-Box and X-Box 360) instead of Nintendo. Furthermore, for the most part, Square-Enix is not too keen on releasing its games on the VC (with a few exceptions, such as ActRaiser). Putting that together witht the fact that Enix is the company that made Wonder Project J2 (and the original Wonder Project J), that would mean that the best chance we have of being able to play that game legally would be if it's re-released on any current consoles. Of course, previously, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood was only available in Japan on the TG-16/PC Engine; if that game was recently released on the PSP, then there just might be a chance for WPJ2 to get an American release as well. Who knows?

Moving on, I got into a convo with Martin last night. I told him about what was going on with ROM sites and about that dispute that Jake and I had the other night regarding trading Pokemon. Mom walked in and asked if she could get on, and I told her that I was in the middle of a convo. She asked me to ask Martin which state he lives in. It turns out that he lives in West Virginia, and me and Mom both noticed that as a coincidence because that's also the same state where Adalia Glenys lives. I then told Martin about such a coincidence, and then mentioned that Adalia and I used to chat on AIM for one year, although it's been two years and four months since my last convo with her. Martin said he also had friends who simply disappeared as time went on.
