Jan. 21st, 2008 06:03 amSo, it's been a few days, and TheNewX still hasn't responded to my DeviantArt message, which means, no copy of Makeruna Makendou Z. Sometimes, it's easy to feel like someone's blowing you off when they don't respond to a message within the time you expect them to, but that's not always the case. The first time I contacted Connor Wall (a.k.a. AeroGreymon8.0) about Eggman's New Invention, it took him several months to get around to reply to my email. I even got a response just yesterday from someone whose YouTube video I commented on (Sonic Spinball Prototype); the comment I left was one I left months ago under the name DMXrated01.
Aside from TheNewX, I've also contacted some people who sell games on Ebay stores (not on regular auctions). One of them said that they'd "be able to" look for a copy of MMZ if I paid them $200, with the promise to refund me if he/she fails. I spoke to Mom about it, and she said that it's probably a scam. The chances of them actually finding the game (or asking their suppliers to provide it) would actually be better if I didn't pay such a fee, because they'll figure that the only way they're actually going to make money is if they provide actual products. I responded to that person's message, saying that I refuse to pay the fee, and they said that they'll still look for it.
I finished watching Divergence Eve yesterday. Up next is its sequel, Misaki Chronicle, but I also have Otaku No Video left to watch before I get some more anime DVDs for my birthday in two months.
I showed Dan Lemcke (the head of Empty Box Gaming magazine, not available yet) my Top 50 games list from the other day, and he enjoyed it. He noticed that I mistakenly wrote "III" where I should've written "IV" in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time", and I fixed it up. I then replied to his response asking if he would include a link to it (or the list itself) in the first issue of EBG when it comes out.
