Feb. 14th, 2008 05:38 amYesterday, Mom brought me to this month's session with Dr. Perret. I showed him yesterday's blog entry, and got a chance to discuss it with him. In fact, that's what we spoke of the whole session. He suggested maybe I should also give Classmates.com a try and see if I can find anyone there that I used to know.
I'm having a break from Pokemon Pearl, so that I can work on and revise Chronicles of 7th Grade. As of right now, I'm revising what I already wrote so that it will be easier to read. Part of it is going to be from my present perspective, and some stuff is going to have to be deleted (mostly trivial stuff that's not pertinent to anything; some small things can remain though). However, one thing that I might leave as is would be instances of "he's like", which really means "he said." (Yes, that's how I would have said it back then.)
Oh, and while I'm at this, I should take some time to play the games I used to play back then, on both the Super NES and the Nintendo 64. By doing so, who knows what else I'll remember that I might have almost missed recording? Well, I already did overplay Snowboard Kids 2 months ago. Sometimes, I play the original Snowboard Kids, not for the nolstalgic feeling, but for the challenge. However I haven't played games like Banjo-Kazooie or Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in years, so those two games might actually keep me inspired.
And then, of course, there's Getter Love!! which, like I said, never did make it to North America but somehow inspires me nonetheless. (See 02/11/08, just three days ago.) That game can be saved for the very end, so as to celebrate the completion of Chronicles of 7th Grade (assuming that I even do complete the document).
