Yesterday morning, I put some CDs into the hard drive, and it seemed like the hard drive was deleting all the files on any CD put into it. They were all ROM CDs, so at least I didn't lose anything permanently. I told Mom about it, and she said she'll look into the problem. I brought three of the disks to school and tested them on one of the hard drives in the computer lab. It turned out that the files weren't deleted after all.

Last night was the first time in two months that I was able to contact Jake. There was no trouble this time.
