So far, I've continued updating Chronicles of 7th Grade since only a few days ago, and despite still spending most of my time either doing chores or playing Dark Cloud 2, I've managed to write two more weeks to it from where I left off just several months ago. I only have eleven more weeks to write to it, although I will admit that the nolstalgic spark that prompted me to continue writing to it months ago has pretty much worn off and should be left to recharge on its own. Being bogged down with all kinds of work isn't something that I can control, although it was a mistake to have wasted time trying to play games on Saturn and PC-FX emulators (namely, Game Tengoku and Makeruna! Makendou Z respectively). Good thing I was at least able to figure out how to work a PC-FX emulator, even though that particular emulator SUCKS!!!

So, if I don't have the nolstalgic feeling for 7th Grade right now that I've had months ago, why am I still writing Co7G? Three reasons:

1) These memories are recurring. I know that they're gonna come back, and each time they do, I'm gonna want to do something with it. (See February 13, 2008 to see what I plan to do with it, and just two entries before that to read my first rant about Co7G.) The sooner I finish the document, the sooner I'll be able to gather some people to contribute to the project in question, and the fresher their own memories of school year 1998-99 will be.

2) Getter Love!! This is the game I told Matthew I was saving for a special occasion when I wrote my letter to him. When I finish Chronicles of 7th Grade, I'm gonna take some time to recharge the nolstalgic spark. Then I'm gonna play all the games I used to play when I was in 7th Grade, in the order that I played them in. During the same time period, I am also going to copy the document to this blog, section by section, and by playing the games, I'm hoping that I'll remember stuff that I might not have remembered immediately. And when I'm done playing the games and copying the document, I'm gonna top it all off with Getter Love!! Cho Renai Party Game Tanjo! (To play that game any earlier would ruin the future occasion, plus I still have yet to learn more than basic Japanese in order to play it.)

3) And finally, money! I'm hoping to submit the document to get published, in hopes of making royalties off of it. Whatever I make off of it will go into a special account, which will serve the sole purpose of buying the licence from Software Sculptors to air and dub the Makeruna! Makendou anime for the North American audience, especially for TheNewX (who wrote in a forum that he will not rest until he's seen it for himself). After I buy the anime licence, I'm also going to aim to buy the licence to translate and dub each of the three Makeruna! Makendou games before I begin making a fourth game.
