Rant #7... and another one
Jul. 1st, 2008 06:03 amRant #7: The Sega Neptune. Cancelled for the exact same reason why it was started: because it was meant to be a more efficient version of the Sega 32X. At first, I thought that the Sega Saturn was going to be Sega's 64-bit console, but no. It's actually Sega's *true* 32-bit console. I can accept that the 32X was an add-on to the Genesis, but the Neptune and the Saturn were both their own consoles. What a dumba$$ company Sega was to make TWO 32-bit consoles at the same time.
Guess what? The Neptune wasn't the only console in gaming history to get scrapped. There's an entire list of scrapped consoles here.
Guess what else? I have yet another thing to rant about today:
That GameShark I've been using is pretty much useless. I found a whole list of GameShark SP codes for Pokemon Ruby, but when I entered them into my GameShark and activated them, they don't work. Only the codes already on the GameShark work. There's even a disclaimer on that list stating that the codes are not officially released codes.
At first, I thought that taking care of the codes on Pokemon Ruby and Emerald would be a good way to pass the time before I receive Pokemon FireRed, but now I'm just gonna resort to buying a Game Boy Advance Action Replay V3. My other two cheating devices did work for the games I applied them to, when I added new codes to them, so I do have enough reason to trust an AR. In the meantime, I can still take on Regice, Regirock, Registeel, and Rayquaza regularly in Pokemon Ruby.
