Apr. 13th, 2009 07:17 amWell, yesterday was Easter, and I hope you all had a happy one. Marie criticized Mom for not waking anyone up to eat breakfast together for Easter, and started making bacon by herself. Mom also helped her make some crumpets and slice up some strawberries.
We all got a Kinder Egg in our Easter baskets, but at first, only Dad ate his and put the toy together. He got... some pirate lady that comes with a map; you're supposed to place some stickers on the map, tie it together with a tiny rubber band, and place it inside the figure. I did the stuff with the map last night, but couldn't fit it inside the toy.
Marie watched Mary Poppins on TV yesterday, while Brian read some books and I took a few hours to compile links to all those songs that I enjoy listening to. Last night, we also watched The Sound of Music, also on TV.
Around that time, that's when Marie opened her Kinder Egg. She got a one-piece toy donkey playing the bongos. Mom also gave me permission to eat her Egg, even though I still have yet to eat my own. The toy inside hers was this bulldozer that turns into a lion. It's not actually a Transformers toy per se; the other three in that group are a (pink) crane/elephant, a bullet-train that becomes a crocodile, and a helicopter that turns into... some kind of raptor.
