Back to the present.
For the past few days, I have been unable to access ROMhacking.net. Each time I try to enter it, I get a message saying that the server is taking too long to respond. I've been starting to wonder if it's been shut down permanently, and asked last night on Yahoo Answers if that is the case, before going to bed. One person who answered said that he's been having the same problems with the site as well.
Quite by coincidence, it's been even longer since the last time I've seen Jake on MSN. However, I do have more faith that he'll return. He's probably just busy with real life or something, and it's not like I hadn't decided on a whim before to have a break from the program. I did read his 20 Secrets About Jasmine Mayer post, which he posted only days ago. Not that I have anything in particular to bring up with him, but I'd be especially glad to kill some time by speaking to him while I'm not playing anything for the time being.
In the meantime, I've been working on a pic of Ellen as she'll be dressed towards the end of Parasitic Trio. I still need to pic up some colored pencils and color her in, but I did show the pic as it currently is to Chelle, who agreed to give me some con-crit on it. I also compared the pic to the depiction of "Leaf" on the cover of my FRLG player's guide, and it turns out that both versions of the character have roughly the same proportions.
(Man, even while in sketch form, Ellen is so hot having such big breasts, wearing the outfit in question, and flirting.)
