Wow. How computers sometimes make no fucking sense at all...

1) Several things from Makeruna! Makendou 2 are being hosted on YouTube, but like that FMV in MMZ, I don't know if you can actually find them within the game. So, I figured I would download them with YouTube Downloader. Of course, I lost the activation codes, so I had to pay for some new ones... and I ended up paying for them twice. Thanks to Vista, though, TubeHunter Ultra doesn't frickin' work on our main PC, but even when I tried it on my laptop, it refused to recognize me as a registered user.

I don't get it. It worked when I tried it at school, so why can't I use it on my laptop?

Eventually, I just thought, hell with that. I switched to YouTube Downloader, even though that didn't work the first time, and it works.

WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! I didn't even have to pay money for YouTube Downloader. Of course, the reason I had to shell anything out for THU was because YTD didn't work the first time around. What the fuck is this?

1 and a half) Did I forget to mention that I *did* download and install TubeHunter Ultra onto our main PC? As a result, we now have something called Xobni creating pop-ups whenever we open the email. Along with that, I accidentally downloaded a whole bunch of shit, most of which I was able to delete, thank god. But, I can't seem to dis-install Xobni or this other thing called Shredder. That is the reason why I don't look at anything pornographic on our main computer!

2) Panel de Pon. For some reason, each copy of this ROM that I have was either untranslated or corrupted. After some frustration trying to re-apply the translation patch, I went onto my laptop and re-downloaded the ROM. This time around, I didn't bother moving it anywhere else on our computer, instead just applying the translation patch right away.

3) .avi files. Tried to watch the Makendou OAV on Windows Media Player, but instead of the video that's supposed to be displayed, all I see is some graphical pattern. Well, I did try downloading a video from the Anime Fanservice Image Gallery, and same thing's going on with that. I do understand that there are other folks that have had this problem, and I might need to download some codecs or whatever... or see if I can convert the file to some other format.

This whole pile of cockameme really pisses me off. Of course, there's no way to break something on the Internet, and I don't wanna break something of my own. Good thing I haven't gotten to the point of smashing something up, though I have been pretty fresh with my parents yesterday.
