Makoto today.
Managed to buy the Shrine Date card at the Information Center. Met up with Makoto the next morning at Cafe Liquid, and arranged a date at the Shinto Shrine for that night. The next turn, I hopped on over to Panda Park, which was just a stone's throw from there, hoped to do some shopping, but couldn't do anything. Sesshuu then brought Reika along and met me there, and passed her off to me. Luckily, I had a Reika Gekitai card that I started off with, and it saved my shrine date.
Having translated the text on each date that I have, I noticed some kanji in Makoto's firework scene that says "Senko Hanabi". Hanabi translates into "firework", and senko translates into either "incense" or "joss stick".
(Come to think of it, I remember seeing an item called a "senko" in Final Fight 2, back when I played it in late 2002. I kinda wondered what that would be at the time, but it was so long ago that it never even occurred to me to look it up.)
Later on, before the game ended, Reika found me on her own at Fashion, where I was waiting for Makoto. Two turns later, I managed to pass her off to Chikashi, who really had it going with Shizuku. Unfortunately, I couldn't act fast enough to stop Daisuke from winning the game with Ayumi. I barely managed to buy a Youshi Down card, one turn before he wrapped the game up.
