Yesterday was a Jewish holiday, so I didn't have school. Mom stayed home from work because I had an appointment with Dr. Perret that morning.

Not gonna go into detail about what I brought up with him, because Chelle is already sick and tired of talking about the subject in question right now. However, Mom did drop me off at Borders so that she could go to the gym. While I was there, I read more of volume 1 of the Haruhi manga, and also chapter 1 of this manga called Yotsuba&! I also noticed some DVD called Tea Society of a Witch, where you decide how the story unfolds and see what ending you get.

GETTER LOVE!!

Damn! Forgot to mention in Round 1 that Daisuke failed at winning Meifa's heart when he confessed his love to her at the school. Why? Because I used a Youshi Down card on him right before he made the move. Epic!

Anyway, now for yesterday's round:

Met with Shizuku at Panda Park on the very first turn, and pursued her from there on. However, this relationship was rather slow to develop. The first date that she arranged with me was one that I missed when I got carried away with trying to fuck around with Chikashi and Daisuke at the Ground.

Daisuke bought the Beach Date card at the Information Center, and I challenged him to a keepaway game right then and there. Except, I lost because I got stuck between his teammate and my own. I followed him around the next turn, and got the quiz game, but won this time.

I also later got my hands on the Shrine Date card, which I would have later invited Shizuku out with. However, I never got that chance, because Chikashi then confessed his love to Hana at Panda Park. To add insult to injury, I even noticed that his Tairyoku bar was only 1/4 full. Usually, just to be on the safe side, I make sure that my Youshi and Tairyoku are both at least half full before I try to win anyone's heart, and when it isn't, find someone to treat as my walking gas station. Gee, I guess that was never necessary, huh?

Let's review: Using a Youshi Up card was a mistake, because that limited how much of it I could take from anyone. Using a Mach card on Chikashi was a mistake, because the last turn that it would be active would be the turn that he went to Panda Park all the way from his home on the opposite corner of the map, and Hana would already be there before him. And, if only I actually won the aforementioned keepaway game, I would've stood more of a chance.
