All of yesterday was a hassle.

Well, to start with, yesterday's entry came out really glitchy, and I spent several hours trying to fix it up. Chelle left a comment asking me to lj-cut some stuff in it, and that just made me decide to save the text to NotePad and delete the whole entry. I figured I'd try to repost it later, when this website wasn't acting up, but not even a minute later, I came back, and it turns out that the whole thing was from a missing quotation mark in an lj-cut tag.

Just when I got finished with it, I was about to pour myself some cereal, and Vincent calls me right then and there saying that he's ready to see me. I told him to wait an hour before he comes to the house.

So, Vinnie arrived in said hour, and as he drove me around, I brought up that whole issue about my habit of leaving class. He did tell me that I need to force myself to sit through the 80-minute classes. However, he did tell me that he couldn't blame me for walking into Chinese History late, since it starts only ten minutes after Psychology ends, making a total of three hours and ten minutes with only two designated ten-minute breaks.

Anyway, my meeting with him lasted slightly less than an hour. When I got dropped off back home, I started reading a chapter from one of my Psychology texts, and more than half a chapter from my Business Law textbook. One time, when I got up to check my emails, I noticed that Marie left two comments advising me to either delete yesterday's entry altogether or mark it Friends-only or Private. Her reasoning was that if a potential employer reads it, he or she'd think twice about hiring me, and if someone from school reads my shit, they could use it as ostracization material.

Okay, let's get a few things cleared up: Read more... )

Mom came home after 3:00, and about 40 minutes before she drove me to the bowling alley, I was about to have a shower, only to find that I only had one pair of socks left. Yeah, there's another thing: Two nights ago, I didn't have any socks in my dresser, went to sleep barefoot, and my whole body froze as a result. I waited until the wash in the dryer was finished the following morning before I finally put some on and started my blog entry. Back to mid-day, I confronted Mom about where all my socks are, she claims to have put a whole bunch of them in my drawer, and even though she didn't mean to lie (or better not have anyway), I told her that I just pulled out the last pair. She and I agreed to bring my winter clothes up from out of the basement today and sort through them.

So, she drove me to the bowling alley, I bowled my two games, got a 94 and an 82, and came back outside to meet her. Nothing special happened during my time there. However, Mom had to drive to Dad's workshop and the boatyard to get his mail and retrieve something respectively. That added another hour before we finally got home.

Just when I was finally about to talk to Jake, Dad came in, and I told him I just got on the computer. Mom asked me some stuff, my tone of voice wasn't exactly nice, and Dad said that he's getting tired of me and the way I speak to him and Mom. [Some shit deleted here.] My mood did improve after I paused the convo and ate some dinner. Later on, after I finished my convo, I asked Mom why she and Dad expect me to keep my temper under control, and she says that she and Dad do not snap at me just for trying to talk to them, and she was only trying to be nice by asking me if I wanted some food.

Anyway, didn't get to play Getter Love!! yesterday, but my convos with Jake have been pretty good so far. As long as we're still talking about this new hair-fetish of mine that we've been discussing for a week, I can hardly wait to talk to him some more!
