Oct. 11th, 2009 04:46 amMom went to get Marie yesterday, and the two of them came home last night. From what Mom told me, Brian is also due to come home this weekend.
While Mom was away, I read some stuff for Chinese History and both of my business classes. In between readings, I finally watched Negima! I played a total of six rounds of Getter Love!!, but also vacuumed the house at Dad's request.

GETTER LOVE!!
Round 1: Hooked up with Natsuki today. Managed to invite her out to the beach. However, Reika just had to come along and ruin it for me. I managed to tag Chikashi with her, but along the way, I noticed that she somehow gave him a Beach Date card of his own. Gee, I never heard of the Hose Beast giving you anything except shit!
Anyway, I did manage to see a scene of Natsuki shopping at Fashion. On the last turn, she asked me to meet her at the Karaoke Corner. I went to the Game Corner instead, and successfully stole the Beach Date card from Chikashi. Just then, Sesshuu came along and won the game with Hana.
Round 2: Met with Shizuku at the Information Center. After I asked Kaoru for her next whereabouts, I was told to go to Itoh Mart. I beat her there, and she ignored me even though I was the only fucking guy there! Gee, I guess this is why they say "Ladies first": So that you can give them a kick in the ass!
Well, I got the ball rolling with by inviting her out to the Shrine. Did a decent job competing with Daisuke for her, although a cat stole a Love Love card that I bought earlier in the game. Alfonso announced her event at Itoh Mart at some point, and both me and Daisuke beat her there. She spoke to me, and showed me her dog Pero. (Nice doggie, but don't most public buildings have a "No pets" policy? Or not in Japan?)
At the end of the game, though, Chikashi had three consecutive dates planned ahead with Natsuki, whom he had been kicking ass with, I was forced to stay home for one turn to recover my Youshi, someone used a Slow card on me, and then Sesshuu won the game with Hana at the school. And I was betting that Daisuke would've won her, since he was doing better with her. Even if I did screw up Sesshuu's plans with a Battle card (which I wouldn't use on Chikashi at that time because he bought a Battle Win card), I would still be fucked, because then Chikashi would've more than likely taken the win.
Round 3: Don't remember or care what happened.
Round 4: Initiated a relationship with Natsuki, and thought I set up a date with her three turns ahead. It turns out that no such date was set up, and I spent the rest of the game trying to find stuff to fuck up Chikashi with. Also just barely managed to cancel out a Beach date that Sesshuu set up with Makoto, but I eventually drove myself to near-poverty. I then challenged Daisuke to a keepaway game at the Karaoke Corner, only to get stuck between my own teammate Sesshuu and a fucking block! Next turn, Chikashi has yet another date set up with Ayumi, whom he was doing too good with, and at that point, I decide to just forfeit.
Round 5: Hana today. Now, all I need with this girl is to visit her house and win her Love Love ending. She did invite me to her house, but the turn before I could go there, someone used a Geri card on me. Douchebag!
Well, from there on, I decide to go for the Love Love ending anyway. I did manage to build enough of a relationship for it, but with three dates set up in a row, such a possibility is ruled out. Can't remember who it was, but one of my rivals was also kicking ass with someone. I should've won the game with Hana during one of said dates, if at least for a Memory-unlocking Topic that I stole and knew I didn't have.
Round 6: Natsuki today. Managed to take her out to the Shinto Shrine, where some one-eyed ghosts scared the shit out of her! Meanwhile, Daisuke is also kicking ass with Meifa, and I eventually decide to cash in at the Information Center on my winnings.
Would you look at that! After five losses in one day (one of which was actually a forfeiture), I finally won something! For her Suki Suki ending, Natsuki presents a nice meal, with a heart dyed(?) on the rice. She sure is the Yamato Nadeshiko of this game!
